How do I join a league?

Head to our "Join" tab and select a product. Each membership includes exactly the same service but are split into Early Bird, 1st Release, and 2nd Release categories. Get in early to secure the cheapest rate!

I’m a complete beginner, can I join if I’ve never played before?

Absolutely! What better place to start? Our leagues are open to all levels, including complete beginners. The main goal is to have fun, get a bit fitter, and maybe even meet your next best friend along the way.

What is the structure of a typical league?

Accepted Answer

Leagues generally run for 7–10 weeks and are designed to balance skill-building, social play, and friendly competition.

10-week league example:
Weeks 1–2: Drills, skills, and shorter games which don't count toward the league
Weeks 3–8: 10-15 minutes of warm ups/drills, 45 minutes of longer games 
(teams assigned at the end of Week 2 to balance skill levels and encourage new friendships)
Week 9: Semi-finals (playoffs)
Week 10: Finals

7-week league example:

The best way to stay in the loop is to join our mailing list via our contact page and follow us on social media. We’ll keep you updated on upcoming leagues, sign-up dates, and any special events. You can also check our website regularly for all the latest info.

We already have a team and would like to join together, how do we do that?

Send us a message through the contact form on our homepage. Let us know how many players are in your team and which sport you’re interested in. Each individual will need to register on our event app and mark their expected attendance, but we’ll automatically set up your team.

Question 6

If I purchase a substitute session, what does that mean?

Accepted Answer

A substitute session lets you join a single league session with full access to the coach, court/pitch, all equipment, and the full session on the date you book for.

However, subs aren’t eligible for end-of-session or end-of-season rewards such as the “Player of the Week” pint or team medals. These are reserved for full league members.

It’s a great option if you want to try a session, fill in for a friend, or join a team when you can’t commit to a full membership.

Do you offer mixed-gender leagues?

We run both women-only and mixed leagues, depending on the sport and time of year. Check the Join page for the latest league options and availability.

Do you offer corporate or private group bookings?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Whether you’re a company team or a group of friends, we can set up a league just for your team or slot you into a currently running league.

If you already have a team and want to join together, send us a message via the contact form on our Contact page. Let us know how many players are in your team and which sport you’re interested in. Each player will need to register on our event app and mark their expected attendance, but don’t worry, we’ll automatically set up your team once everyone has registered and paid.
